Tim Howard, CPA
As Managing Director of James and Harris, Tim brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of taxes, accounting, and business profit development.
Tim’s “real world” experience includes owning and operating internet and consumer retail companies and a building component manufacturing facility.
The ability to combine his technical and practical experience is very valuable to James and Harris clients. He enjoys working one on one with the clients and takes a personal interest in helping clients achieve their goals.
A native of Jacksonville, he attended the University of North Florida, where he graduated with cum laude honors. In his spare time Tim likes to hit the beach and hang out with wife, son and daughter.
John Pridgen, CPA
John Pridgen is the Senior Client Services Manager for James and Harris. John started with the firm over 40 years ago and has the experience and knowledge that clients have come to rely on.
John lives with family in Middleburg and enjoys golf and taking his 30’ boat on trips to the Bahamas.
Charles Winney, CPA
Charles is the Senior Audit and Accounting Manager and has been with James and Harris for over 30 years.
He is a Jacksonville native and graduate of the University of Florida, Class of 1964. He worked for a national CPA firm prior to joining James and Harris.
Charles has experience in taxes, accounting and auditing. Since 1965 he has worked with a variety of customers including not for profits, manufacturing and retail operations.
He lives with his wife and three children and enjoys golf, philately and family activities.
Charlotte Pierce, Office Manager
Charlotte has been with James and Harris for over 30 years. She began her professional career as a statistical typist. She keeps the office organized; all of the accountants informed of due dates and makes sure each client is especially cared of.
Charlotte lives in the Hastings area and enjoys spending time with her grandson, reading and working in the yard.
Freya Holmes, Accountant
Freya has been with James and Harris for over 8 years and has over 30 years of public accounting experience working with companies in a broad range of industries. She is a software guru, versed in QuickBooks, Business Works and Excel.
She has extensive experience with QuickBooks, allowing our clients to take full advantage of its many financial reporting functions. Freya’s industry experience in the medical field is a perfect complement to James and Harris’ diverse physician client base.
Freya is a graduate of the University of North Florida.
She likes to spend her free time with her grandson and RVing with her husband.
Lynne Estes, Accountant
Lynne started with James and Harris in 2005 and has been involved in all aspects of business operations for over 30 years. She also is a software guru experienced with QuickBooks, Great Plains, Excel and Aloha point of sale systems.
Her 10 years of direct experience in the fast-paced restaurant accounting and management services is a special benefit to James and Harris clients.
Lynne attended the University of Alaska and the University of Colorado. Lynne enjoys cooking, gardening and quilting.
